With over 500 lights on display in Period Details showroom it can be a little difficult to choose. Our friendly staff can give you advice on any aspect of period lighting. We are happy to spend time with our customers to ensure they are completely satisfied with their purchase.

Period Details specalises in lighting for buildings with higher ceilings. The lights suit ceilings of 2.7metres and higher. As a general rule light fittings should sit above the door architrave and be proportional to the size of the room.

For lower ceilings there is a small range of flush to ceiling fittings available. The majority of the shades pictured in the shade section or shown on rods/cord units can be fitted flush to the ceiling.

Many of our fittings are made from solid brass and are assembled in Australia. Most of the brass fittings are available in lacquere polished brass or electroplated finishes, including: Antique Brass, Bronze, Antique Bronze, Chrome and Nickel.

If priced as individual items e.g. fitting, gallery and shade then you can mix-and-match, allowing you to create unique combinations perfect for your needs.
