Period Lighting

Within Period Details fantastic store you will find a huge range of original and reproduction period lighting for use in your home or business. We have over 500 light fittings on display including single pendant lights, multi-arm pendants, 3 chain lights and chandeliers.

Interior wall brackets and wall sconces and exterior lights are also on display.

Table Lamps

We provide a wide range of table lamps and floor lamps including a great range of lamp bases with mix and match fabric shades. Fabric shades can be purchased separately but we recommend that you bring your table lamp base with you.

A large range of desk lamps are available for your home and business including classic Bankers Lamps. We also stock a wide range of Art Deco Lady Lamps.

Electrical Switches

To further complement your home or business we also stock an extensive range of electrical switches in Victorian. Federation, Tudor/Bungalow, Art Deco and modern designs. We also stock timber switch blocks in raw pine, undercoated customwood or polished timber.

Pressed Metal

Period Details are Melbourne's premier stockist of Pressed Metal. Pressed Metal can be used on walls and ceilings both internally and externally. Pressed Metal is fantastic used as a kitchen splashback or in a bathroom. We hold many patterns of Pressed Metal in stock and have a great display in our showroom.

For over 25 years Period Details have been selling original and reproduction fire surrounds and cast iron grates. We have a great range of wood burning, gas and electric fires.

We can install your fireplace for you and also provide a full restoration service for existing fireplaces in your home or business.

Fireplace Accessories

If you have a wood burning or gas fireplace then you really need a firescreen to keep it safe. We have a wide range of Australian Made and imported firescreens and firetools. We also stock freestanding grates and wood buckets.

Giftware

Many of our customers love to come in to look at our always changing range of giftware. Our ruffled and plain aprons in adult and child sizes are always popular.

Timber and Metal Screen Doors and Fretwork

If you are having trouble finding a timber or metal flyscreen door to fit your home or business then your worries are over. All of our timber and metal doors are made to order.

We also make interior and exterior fretwork and corner brackets to order.
