58% of the clay used to make the fireplace tiles is sourced locally from around Stoke-on-Trent with the rest of the clay orginating from the south west of England. H & E Smith fire the tiles twice, which is the traditional method, this enables them to match the beautiful glaze effects that were produced over 100 years ago.

The Hearth Tiles sizes are approximately 152 x 76mm with a thickness of 40mm(Traditionally 3' x6'). For further tiles please contact Period Details directly. The colours shown below are representation's only.
